Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner

Hello my lovelies!

So I love doing my makeup. I do my makeup when I'm bored, when I'm going out and even when I'm having a lazy day around the house. However... there is one area of makeup I struggle with more then others and that is my eyes. All is well and good until I decide to use my liquid eyeliner (that makes me look like someone sprayed squid ink on my face because it takes years to dry). I completely and utterly fail at doing my liquid eyeliner. I can get a straight line but I always open my eyes too soon and it smudges everywhere! This always results in me using copious amounts of cotton wool pads and eye makeup remover to try and shift the black circles around my eyes.
Then I found this... Soap & Glory Supercat carbon black extreme eyeliner pen. (Chanel have a version of this but this is just as good and a lot cheaper.)
The one thing that made me buy this instantly was this "eyeliner pen" as much as I find the drying a struggle I also find the flimsy ends of normal liquid eyeliner unbearable! So, naturally, I was drawn to this feature. Having a pen tip makes it a lot easier to actually apply the eyeliner and it makes it look better on your eye as you have more control over the brush.
I bought this in 'carbon black' however I'm not sure what other colours they do it in but this is definitely a good colour to use as it blends with most eye shadows quite well.
Here is the packaging it came in
I love Soap & Glory's packaging it is super cute! This one is no exception. The eyeliner itself looks just like a felt tip pen
This really is just a pen this is what I think is so great about it being able to hold and use it just like a pen means it is so super easy to apply.
When I use this I get straight lines easily quickly and exactly how I want them. If I want really dramatic look I would use the side of the brush but to get this sort of natural everyday look I use the tip.
I think this is a must for every girl who ever wanted an easy cheat way of doing their eyeliner.

Hope you will all consider giving this a look I bought mine from Boots for £4.50 in the sale i think it is usually £6.
Hope your all having a lovely week so far.
Much love <3

Little Make-up Haul

So I heard lots of people do hauls on youtube and must confess I do frequently watch them I'm a little addicted really... so I thought seen as though I went shopping the other day I would share a few of the guilty pleasures I bought.

First on my list was my make-up. I love Boots and Superdrug but I never go in and buy what I needed. This time I went in for hair mousse and my monthly load of batiste and well... I completely forgot about it.
Instead I ended up buying, new foundation, new powder and a lipstick all of which I must confess I had little or no need of.

Here is my foundation, it is a No7 "Beautifully Matte Mousse" in "Cool Beige". It says it has a medium coverage but I find it to be a bit heavy however not too thick on my skin it still felt light and was so easy to work with. When it comes to my foundation if I'm trying out a new one I like to make sure that it will match my skin. I nearly always go to the counter to get matched and I fully believe that it is worth it. then you can be sure there is no chance of having oompa loompa orange skin. This was well worth buying and i highly highly praise it, the only draw back with this was I think it is fine for weekends but would not want to walk the school corridors wearing it.
Next up is my powder, this is also a No7 product and it is one I keep going back to! It's called "Perfect Light Pressed Powder" and is in "Fair". I wear this to school as it gives me great coverage and also goes really well over my concealer. It doesn't make me look too pale or too tanned and it is so light (obvious to say about a powder right) but if you tried it you would understand.

Finally for my make up is this red lipstick, this again is No7 (surprise surprise) and is called "Sheer Temptation" in "Glam". I loved the colour of this and the casing of it is so handy however I am afraid that that is as good as it gets. The lipstick doesn't stay on for very long, it is difficult to apply (even with a brush) and comes off on to everything! It is lovely when it is on though and I love the way it looks but unfortunately I do not love wearing it.

My second little guilty pleasure is Topshop jewellery. I don't usually buy things from here though as they can be so expensive, however when I was pondering through the other day I noticed that some of there jewellery was on sale! To this I responded in purchasing 2 new rings for my collection. The first costing me no more then £1! it is a small, gold ring that fits onto your thumb or fourth finger it has ridges all the way round it, it looks good with everything I have worn so far and hope this keeps happening.the second costing a bit more at, I believe, £5-6 this is also gold but is a bit larger and in the shape of a shield and has little bumps all along it, this only fits onto your fourth finger and can get very uncomfortable. I wear it with my blazer and skinny jeans, it looks casual but is made for a bit more of a fancy outfit ( e.g. i wouldn't wear it with jeans and a t-shirt)
I hope this has given you a few ideas of what would be good to buy and for what occasion or outfit.
Definitely should be banned from boots for a while I think...
Hope your all having a wonderful week,
Much Love <3

2012-2013! New Years Resolutions!

Everyone has made new years resolutions and has almost definitely failed at keeping it.
This year I made a few new years resolutions that i am determined not to break.

Number 1. Make a Blog.
Yes it took me 16 days but i have finally found the time to start this lovely thing. I wanted somewhere where i could write down everything and pretty much just have fun with it.

Number 2. SMILE!
If there is one ting 2012 taught me it was smile. No matter how bad your feeling smiling definitely brightens up your day and hopefully everyone else around you.

Number 3. Stop Worrying.
I have a massive downfall when it comes to worrying. I'm always worrying when I don't need to and when I have a reason to worry well... that can be a little bit scary I think. But in 2013 no more unnecessary worrying!

And finally...

Number 4. Parties, Picnics and Concerts!
I don't know about any of you but I have a gazillion exams coming up in 2013 and I know I'm going to stress or even worse... worry! So my final new years resolution is about spending time with the people that matter most. Having time to study but at the same time relax and just have fun with my friends.

I'm definitely feeling good about 2013. Hope you all are to!
Remember...
New Year New Start.
