Hello my lovelies,
So recently I decided to join a gym and thought it might be handy to do a 'What to wear/take to the gym post' I have some items not others it's just a rough helpful guide. You don't have to have these specific items at all!
 1. Have a good pair of running shoes! The ones shown here are the ones I am hoping to buy soon as they are really recommended by people at my gym.

2. Sports bra. This is a must no matter how big or small chested you are, they make running and excersise more comfortable because you know there won't be any accidents (if you catch my drift).

3. Good sport bottoms. Honestly these make such a difference you wouldn't believe I have these Nike pro bottoms I did try a cheaper pair but I think you definitely get what you pay for as these are so much nicer to wear and better quality.

4. Have a loose t-shirt to go over your top.it covers you up and makes you feel more comfortable in my opinion. I saw this one and it made me smile, I think it's from Etsy but I'm not sure.
5. A hoodie. This is needed so much when you come out of the gym because, especially at the minute, it is super cold outside and this will really help keep you warm.

6. A duffle bag. At the minute I just take my handbag but trust me when I say it's a blooming nightmare trying to fit everything into it and then the bag into my locker. These duffle bags are a better shape to fit into the lockers and will be better to hold everything so they're definitely on my to buy list.

7. Phone, for music, and around ear headphones. I like having my own little bubble when I'm at the gym they do play music there but I find it easier to block everything out and focus on me. I have a gym playlist and these headphones, I don't have these specific ones mine are different but just as good, don't fall off or feel loose they're super comfortable.

I think that is everything.
I hope this has helped at least one of you.
I am really enjoying the gym I tried it a few times with my mum before applying to be a member so if you can do that I would recommend it. Do what is best for your body and what you want to achieve.
I hope you all have a fabulous week.

Hello my lovelies,
Today I thought I would do a little outfit post for you to give you some inspiration.
As it is still quite chilly here in England but it is also quite sunny so it's quite a warm and comfy but also will look good for during spring.
You don't have to have exactly the same things on here it's just to give you an idea.
Black Slip Dress - Topshop
Flannel shirt - BDG Frankie Boyfriend Shirt
Dr Martens Black Matte
Black Bag - Prada
Lip - Bourgious Duo-Cream
Black Nail Varnish - Butter London
Black Fedora - Maison Michel 'Andre' Fedora

I really love the black basis of this outfit as it is really flattering on all body shapes and the red on the shirt adds a really nice pop of colour. By keeping the makeup simple on the face with a nude lipstick and a simple eye-shadow look it makes the dark colours not too over powering and draining on your skin.
I hope this has given you a little inspiration and that you're having a great week.

Hello my lovelies,
Today this post is a little different so I'm sorry if you don't like it but I wanted to be honest with you guys. I know that a few of you aren't in college yet so here is what to expect about college it is the most honest truth I could give you about college/sixth form. So please bare with me. It won't all be negative I promise.
Here are my points in summary.
1. Don't be afraid.
2. Study what you enjoy.
3. Only your final grades matter.
4. So just work hard.
5. Don't worry about how you look. (You look great anyway)
6. If you act like an idiot you will be slapped. Grow up, everyone else does.
Here they are in detail.
1. The first week of college you have 3 kinds of people.
1. The ones who are overly confident and annoying.
2. The ones that are literally two hellos away from pooping their pants.
3. The ones who are keeping their heads down and acting like it was just a normal day.
My advice be number 3. Don't be afraid but don't be over confident. If you are over confident you will intimidate people and if you're afraid you will feel even worse the next week. Even though things are so different just try to act like they're the same or pretty normal, this keeps you calm and will help you feel more comfortable in the surroundings you are in.

2. So depending on where you go you will study 3-5 subjects roughly. Make sure you like them because you need as much enthusiasm as possible to get you through the year and if you hate what you're studying, your grades will show it. By the end of the year you will hate the subject anyway because you are probably going to experience at least 2-3 horrible things to do with each subject. (I'm sorry but it's true)

3. Thirdly don't be afraid of your grades. Through the year you will get given grades and in some subjects you will go home and cry because your grades are so low. My advice for this is not to worry. I do not mean don't try and just doss around doing nothing, I mean don't cry over something not in your control and that is not as bad as it seems. An example of this happened just this week, I study photography and one of my teachers told me my work grade was a U (that is horrific!) but then I thought about it, she hadn't seen my pictures and she was in a awful mood. Please do not worry about these sorts of comments. I'm in fact working at a B so that just shows how much she was wrong.

4. Work for your deadlines! Work in bulk. Work steadily, Plan, Don't plan. Just work! There is nothing worse than getting to the night before your deadline and staying up until 3am trying to finish a 3000 word essay for a book you haven't even read. I have done this about 4 times. (I don't recommend it you look dreadful the next day).
5. Don't worry about how you dress. You look gorgeous anyway. Be comfortable and stylish. Go a day without make-up and wear sweatpants. Whatever you wear someone will always look better than you BUT someone will always look worse. There are only two things that are a must, wash every morning (otherwise it's not pleasant for anyone) and try perfume or body spray have one on you at all times also have hand sanitizer it is an all time life safer you won't even believe!
6. Lastly. Everyone grows up at college. No matter how horrific your time in school was, you get a shock at college. People want to work and want to do their best. If you act like an idiot, trust me when I say, it will be slapped out of you by the end of the first term.
I hope this helps you and gives you some honest advice for college. Honestly I do not regret going. It is hard work but you will make so many amazing friends that help you through your time there.
Don't give up. Don't worry and Don't be afraid.
I hope you're all having a fabulous week!

Hello my lovelies,
Before I get onto the post I want to say sorry for not posting on Tuesday I've had coursework deadlines and haven't had a chance to post.
Anyway today I thought I'd give you an idea of my personal shoe essentials and how far through my list I have gotten.
I used polyvore to create this
1. A good Ol' sturdy pair of Dr Martens. I have wanted a pair of these for about 3 years now and I'm hoping to buy some soon. They might seem pricey but I know people who have had theirs for years!

2. Another pair of boots but these are more fashionable. They're the Vagabond Libby boots, I did think at first that these wouldn't be very comfy and I would regret wearing them, BUT I have found myself feeling the complete opposite. They've molded to my feet super quickly and are so comfortable. Plus they look good with everything and make your legs look AMAZING!

3. Black and white converse. Converse appear a few times throughout my essentials but they're really good shoes and last me such a long time. I love these ones and I really want to buy more pairs for reasons I will explain when I get to them (if that makes sense?)

4. These are the 'Old Skool Shoes' I think these would be great for throughout the year as they go with everything and look super comfortable.

5.  The ones in the photo are the 'Authentic Shoes' but I am debating between these and the 'Ezra Shoes' because I think they both look good... hmm too many decisions! I think these will be great for summer especially. I love wearing comfortable shoes and vans are definitely comfy.

6. Here is another pair of converse, I really like these for wearing on the colder days of summer with a little skirt or some shorts as I think they can make your legs look quite short when worn with jeans. I like the all black because I think it makes my legs look nicer, nothing more than personal preference to be honest.

7. Lastly are another pair of converse this time the white Oxford converse, I really like the black ones but when I wear black jeans wearing my black converse sort of make me look like a scary hard core rock chick and I think that white shoes would help a lot with this problem of mine. They would be great for in the summer except that they could get pretty dirty which would suck but is also a small price to pay.

I hope this has helped you if you are trying to decide on some new shoes, I know there isn't much colour but I don't wear much colour at all (sorry).
So far I have 2/7 of my essential pairs and I will keep you all updated on any new purchases.
What are your shoe essentials?
I hope you're all having a great week!

Hello my lovelies,
So as promised here is a little review for the Maybelline "Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser" Primer.
I really loved my little tester of the Benefit Porefessional primer and really want to buy the full tube but it is too expensive for me to buy at present so I was looking for a good dupe or a product to use in the mean time and I have found this to be really good.

Sometimes I don't want to wear foundation all the time so I tend to like to use just a primer, powder and maybe some concealer on my face. So I feel like it is quite important to get a good quality primer and this is one I'd heard about and had quite a few good reviews so I thought I would give it ago.
I think it does quite a good job at erasing your pores and making your skin look a bit more flawless.
It feels quite lightweight on the skin but it can also feel slightly greasy on your skin even though it doesn't look it and doesn't really go that far on your skin which is a bit annoying. It also doesn't feel very nice on your skin it just sits on top even if you buff it in really well like with foundation.
It is quite, matte but I think that it makes it look more natural especially if you are going to apply foundation over the top. I really like the finish of this primer and it does erase my pores and helps keep my makeup on which is what its for.
I think if you are looking for a cheaper primer this is a great one but in my opinion you definitely get what you pay for.
I hope you're all having a really good week!

Hello my lovelies,
Recently I went a bit crazy in Super drug and thought that I would share with you what I bought.
Here is everything

Of course first I went to Rimmel and when I saw they had a 3 for 2 offer on I couldn't resist buying these lovely Kate Moss lipsticks, I bought the shades 101 which is a matte nude colour, 01 which is a gorgeous red and 05 which is a sort of rosey pink. They were £5.49 each.

Also from Rimmel I bought the Stay Matte powder in Translucent. I love this powder I think it is just the perfect drugstore product with high end product qualities, so for £3.99 it is perfect!

Sticking with face products I have been craving benefits porefessional for ages but I have had to admit that right now it is too expensive and I need a primer now. I'd read a few reviews about this product and they were all pretty positive so I decided to trust my fellow bloggers and but the Maybelline 'Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser' primer and I actually really like it and am going to do a full review post on it soon!

As you can see it is a gel consistency but it really does exactly what it says on the packaging very impressed.

The last thing I bought was this Bourjois colour boost lip crayon in the shade 03 Orange Punch. As most of you know I loved my Maybelline colour sensational/popsticks in 060 Citrus Slice but I have pretty much run out. This product is pretty much the same colour.

The colour is quite faint here but looks great on the lips
Overall I am really enjoying all of these products and can't wait for summer to come around now!
What have you guys been loving?
I hope you're all having a great week!

Hello my lovelies,
So last weekend it was my mamas birthday and as you may know we went to York, while I was there I made some cheeky purchases from YSL. As you know I've wanted a YSL lipstick for ages when I bought one the lovely lady gave me a little travel sized babydoll mascara.

I bought the 'ROUGE VOLUPTE SHINE' in the shade 13 'Pink in Paris' I really love it as it's not too bright but it is also a really nice shade on your lips to add a bit of colour to my outfit as you know I wear a lot of black. Plus it smells of watermelon a little bit and I love it!
I really like this mascara and I genuinely want to buy the bigger version already. I think this will become a little handbag essential and will stay in my make-up bag pretty permanently.
I hope you guys are all having a lovely week!

Hello my lovelies,
On Friday a package from the wonderful Shop Dixi appeared through my letter box. I have been in York over the weekend which is why I didn't post this on the day.
I bought 2 Midi rings and I love them both! please check out their website www.shopdixi.com.
I really like everything they have in at the moment.
First of all can we just take a moment to appreciate how cute their packaging is.

The first ring I got was the 'Silver Wishbone Midi Ring' which was £8.
This is so cute and dainty.
I definitely intend on purchasing more.

The other ring I got was the 'Plain Band Midi Ring' in Silver this again was £8.
I also really love this because of how small and dainty it is again.
I also want to purchase more as I think it helps to tie an outfit together.

Anyway I hope you're all having a great week!

Hello my lovelies,
As you might know in November last year I went to Italy with a group of lovely people.
I know this post is a bit late seen as though its January but I just got some of my pictures developed from my disposable camera. I think that this was a really good idea and I wish I took more photos because they look super cool! I absolutely loved Italy and everyone I met. I hope to go back soon, so here are my pictures.
My gorgeous friend Joanna came to Italy with me you can see half of her face here after an abomination of a selfie but i like this picture despite its obvious flaws. This is from when we were on the plane which btw took longer than anticipated!
This is a better photo and I think it's from when we landed in Italy. This is Joanna you can see her properly now!

This photo is from when we went to Pisa. I really liked Pisa and we met some lovely girls just from them photo bombing one of our pictures which frustratingly I can not find.

Here are some more photos from Pisa. I really like the way these look, sort of old and vintagey.
These are the girls I went with and I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you to my lovely hosts and everyone who helped us whilst we were there!
As I said I hope to go back very soon and I think I will really enjoy being in such a beautiful country some more.
I hope you're all having a really good week!

Hello my lovelies,
Todays post is going to be my January wishlist.
As it's the time of the sales I am hoping to do some shopping so here is what I hope to be purchasing.

1. A smock dress. These are perfect from Winter through to summer they can be worn with thick tights and big chunky boots or no tights and a cut-out shoe. I really like the print on this one from Boohoo and for £18 you can't go wrong!

2. I really like long t-shirts that can be worn as a dress or as a top over leggings. This one from Missguided is so lovely! The pattern detail is so simple but adds so much to it. It comes in Black or White but to be really honest I want it in both. It costs £16.99 which again is a great price.

3. The last item thats a dress I promise! This is also from Missguided and again I think it's a really nice edgy piece. Both for Winter through to Summer. Again it comes in black and white and again I can't decide! These are also £16.99

4. Topshop have some really lovely chunky cut out boots and you all know how much I love a chunky boot so these are just perfect for the warmer days! They're £42 but look like they'd last a long time.

5. This little number is from Newlook and I absolutely fell in love with it! It's just a simple faux leather backpack but I think it looks great! Very simple but looks like it would be super handy! It is £17.99.

6. This one is a bit more on the pricey side. It's a powder from Chanel called Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder. The reason I want this is because I worked out how much I've been spending on powders and I normally have to by at least 2/3 a year not including if it breaks so I thought it would be better to get one that lasts, as I know a fair few people who have this and it has lasted them years, then buy a new one every 5-6 months when I hit pan. The price ranges from £29.50-£33.

7. This last item is another high end product I've been eyeing up for ages it's the YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Rose Opera. The colour is a really nice deep rose pink and I really like the texture of these lipsticks as well as the packaging. The prices range from £11.75-£24.50 at  Debenhams. The picture below is not of the shade I mentioned above.

I hope you're all enjoying the January sales as much as I am.
I also hope you're all having a great week! Thank goodness it's the weekend!

Hello my lovelies,
I thought that maybe I would do a perfume collection post. I don't have a lot of perfumes and I am most definitely not bragging, I just thought it might help/interest some of you so you can see how I store it and which ones I have.

So as you can see I have a set of 2 drawers, I use the top on for my daily makeup and underneath I have my earrings and a couple of necklaces. I just put my perfumes on top because I thought they looked pretty and I don't have much room for them anywhere else.

I have had this one the longest as you can see it's nearly gone. This is a really nice scent it smells quite sweet when it's on and it is really nice when you smell it at some point during the day. It is a really nice scent and I love wearing it. It's called Apple Juice by Zara

This little cutie was a Christmas present from my lovely gran. It is perfect for in your handbag to freshen up during the day.I love the scent of this one it's a sort of sweet musk, I know I'm terrible at describing scents, I really love this scent and this is my second bottle, it's more of an Autumnal/Winter scent and I really like it. I'm not sure on the name on the box it said Nina Ricci Paris so I'm going with that.

This was also a Christmas Present but from my mama and dad. Daisy by Marc Jacobs, I love this perfume so so much I've wanted a big bottle for ages as I had a small tester before hand and went through it like water! I love this scent as it is quite a light and sweet floral scent. It is the perfect scent for anytime especially summer and I can't wait to wear it then!
I hope to add to my collection as I always like to switch up my perfumes.
I hope you're having a good week.
Much love <3

Hello my lovelies,
For Christmas this year I asked for some big chunky boots for when it gets snowy, so my lovely mama got me some Vagabond Libby boots. I absolutely love them! They are perfect for me and so easy to style!
They are black leather sort of Chelsea boot style with a zip on the other side. They're so comfy and honestly didn't take anytime at all to break in. At first I thought they would be too high or too heavy but they're honestly not I've spent all day walking in them and have had zero discomfort.
They are a bit more on the pricey side but I know they're going to last me forever. My mama got these from Urban Outfitters but I don't know if they're still in stock however I think they're still on the Vagabond website and they're the same price aswell! They're just under £90 incase you were wondering :)

I hope you're all enjoying yourselves!

Hello my lovelies,
I wasn't planning on blogging today but I ordered a couple of things from the wonderful Shop Dixi and they came today so I thought I'd share them with you.
I bought 2 necklaces that came together. They were the Treasure Island Necklace Set in Silver.
I really like how they aren't completely silver they look quite worn and I think it looks great.
The necklaces are different lengths so naturally I saw an opportunity to layer.

One of the necklaces is a coin and I think that this is really cute because it's quite detailed on the actual coin.
This is the longer of the necklaces but it's not too long so again I really like that.

The other necklace is a wishbone. I love wishbone jewellery I think it's a really nice looking charm for on a necklace. This one just fits like a normal necklace would. I think that it's a really wearable piece.

All together they cost around £14, which I think is really good considering I got 2 and they look great!
I hope you're all having a great day!

Hello my lovelies,
Today I thought I'd do a Favourites of 2013 post. I also just want to say I hope you guys had an amazing new year and I hope that 2014 is even better to you!
First product- is my Estee Lauder eye shadow palette. I'm not sure what this palette is called as I've had it quite a while so it's kind of rubbed off, so I'm sorry that's not very helpful. But anyway, I really love using this as an everyday palette because of the different combinations and that all the colours are very wearable. They are also super pigmented, which I love! I just think it's a great all round palette.

Second product- is my Soap&Glory hand products. I'm not a germophobe (I'm not sure what the proper name is) or anything but I do like having clean hands and something to use if they start to feel a but dry during the day. These smell delicious and work so well, I love them alot and will forever keep them in my handbag!
Third product - is my Impulse Very Pink. This is my favourite body spray to use for during the day I especially loved this in the summer as it's quite a fresh scent.
Fourth prodcut- is another summer product when I went on holiday to Spain in august it got so so hot but I still wanted to go sight seeing so I decided to purchase this. Honestly I love it it was so worth the money!
Fifth product- these are my 2 favourite lip products these are just simple things not expensive but I really love them! I won't blab on about these because I've already done a post on them.
Sixth product- This is the foundation and concealer I have been using this past year and I really like them I use them all year round and sometimes the wake me up foundation can be a bit dewy during winter but I don't wear makeup alot in winter so I don't mind too much.
Last product- This is possibly my favourite product of 2013! I love Real Technique products and this is my faourite of the lot. It's the expert face brush and I just think it's amazing! It helps blend your makeup really well there are no smudge lines or anything like that!
Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed 2013 and you have an even better 2014!
Much love! <3
