Hello my lovelies, 

Another item I got for Christmas was this lovely Real Techniques Shading Brush. I absolutely love this. It is the perfect size for me as it helps give you more control over where you but the eye shadow especially if you just want it in the crease as the brush itself is quite small. It has the same look of all the Real Technique brushes which you will know I love! It is very thin and petite which is good if you only have little hands it helps you be less clumsy than with a big fat brush.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and got everything you wished for! 

I was going to do a 'What I got for Christmas' post but everyone seems to be doing that so I thought I would share with you some items I got for Christmas that will interest you more than knowing how many pairs of socks I got. 

The first item I got for Christmas was this brush from Real Techniques. I love these brushes and now have a small collection of them. I think they're great value for money as they aren't too expensive but are an amazing brush. I love MAC brushes as well but these can be a little on the price side for me. I've needed a new powder brush for absolutely ages and when I found this in my stocking I was super chuffed. I think the best kinds of presents are ones you don't know you're getting but you need. 

The brush it self is fab it is absolutely humongous so makes applying powder really easy and in my opinion helps to give an even coverage. The white ends on the brushes are one of my favourite things about this product because I think it's smart, not only does it look good but it makes it super easy to tell when your brushes need a clean.

As it is approaching Christmas and my laptop seems to be fully functional (yeyyy *parties by ones self*) I decided to do a post on some of my favourite Christmas songs/albums this year, some of them will be quite typical but others I think some of you will appreciate. So without further ado here is my Christmas playlist of 2013.

1. This is more of a typical one but I have been playing Michael Buble's Christmas album none stop this year! I love the songs he does with the Shania Twain (White Christmas) it's so different from other versions.

2. Christmas Lights- Coldplay. This is one of those songs that literally just makes me cry everytime I hear it. I don't know why it's not very sad but I think it's just because I love it so much.

3. Mariah Carey- This women can SING I love her voice and attempting to sing as well as her in my bath when no one is listening. I really do love her Christmas album.

4. Rue Royale- This is a band you might not of heard of but they remind me a bit of the XX it's a duo of a guy and a girl and they are so beautiful when they sing together. They have done a couple of Christmas songs specifically 'Deck The Halls' and 'Snow on Snow'. They are beautiful songs and are sung beautifully by these two. 5. Of course- 'Do they know it's Christmas' this is a classic but it still makes me want to dance whilst getting a really important message across to us. 

6. I wish it could be Christmas everyday- Wizard. I'm going to be honest the music video for this song is so so strange and weird it's almost scary... However the song itself is a really good Christmas song!

I hope this has given you a bit of Christmas music to boogie to this season.

As it is winter I thought I would share with you what I love about this time of year.

Firstly I absolutely love drinking hot chocolate in winter, especially after I've gone for a long walk and my nose is all chilly and my feet and hands are numb it just spreads all its warmth through your body and its chocolate and how can you not love chocolate!

Secondly I love having long big bubbly baths. I spend an absolute fortune in lush in winter because all I want is a bath that smells of lovely scents and lush is definitely the place to be for that! This year I bought a melted snowman and I loved it except it broke my heart that I had to crumble him up under the running water but he smelt lovely so I guess that balances it out.

Another thing I love about winter is that it's the time of year where everyone makes a huge effort to go and see eachother whether it's friends you've known for years or family that live the otherside of the country! It's just the time where people start to have parties and meals and just general get togethers.

Finally the thing I love most about winter is Christmas. I love Christmas for many reasons and honestly take away all the presents I would still love Christmas! The food, the tree, decorating the house and being all together as a family, it is just the most wonderful time of the year.

Hello my lovelies!

It's that time of year again and as you may well know I flipping love Christmas, so here are some of my essential things I must do around this wonderful time!

1. Have a cosy Christmas blanket. This is the perfect things for when it is cold outside and you are all snuggled up watching a very christmassy film! which leads me onto...

2. Buy Christmas films and watch them repeatedly! Some suggestions are:

Elf! The Grinch! The Night Before Christmas!

3. Buy quality hot chocolate and squirty cream and marshmallows! for the ultimate Christmas experience proper hot chocolate is an absolute must! There is nothing better to warm yourself with!

4. Make sure you have nice wrapping paper. It's no good having amazing presents if your wrapping isn't up to scratch. (I don't think this matters too much buts it's nice if it's wrapped all pretty) Paperchase always do great wrapping paper and Christmas cards!

5. A Christmas Onesy. I don't think I should explain it but I will, after Christmas day and all you want is to lounge in front of the TV a Christmas onesy is probably essential for this as that Christmas jumper is probably covered in more turkey than you would care to admit.

6. Listen to your Christmas music. It always makes me feel so happy when I listen to Christmas music I just want to dance around even though I actually can't dance (it's so embarrassing). Michael Buble is my fave!

7. Have a Christmas Party. This doesn't have to be a crazy party just invite a small group of the people you love and chill with them eat food and watch a christmas film and play games with them in your favourite Christmas wear.

8. Christmas is a time for family and friends so just enjoy being around the people you love and who love you. Try and leave behind all negative feelings for the season and just be jolly like Santa. Decorate your tree and put your family before friends don't miss out on putting up the tree or decorating the house because of your friends, spend time with the people who will always be there and love you!

Todays post is my skin care routine, I have really sensitive skin so have to be super careful with what I use. I hope this helps some of you enjoy!

First thing in a morning I wash my face with warm water and dab dry with a towel this leaves my skin feeling a little bit fresher. (I take my make-up off at night with some make up removing wipes)

Secondly I will apply a decent amount of Simple's "Kind To Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion" onto a cotton pad and rub it in.

 I find this really gentle on my skin and I really like how it is un-scented, this also comes with a toner and I used to use that aswell but it started to burn my skin!

After I have rubbed it all in I will put a cotton wool pad under the hot water tap and wipe my face with this again. (This isn't necessary I just find it works best for my skin) Again after this I will dab my skin dry with a towel.

To finish off my face I moisturise with No7's "Beautiful Skin" day cream for normal to dry skin as this helps cover me if I'm having a bad skin day. I leave this to sink in for 5-10 minutes depending on how much I've used and then do my makeup.

Saying No is OK! *Serious Topic*

Hello my lovelies,
I hope this topic is OK to cover I just really felt like I could help one of you (or maybe two). A little disclaimer I'm not a specialist I'm talking from my experience. I just want to let you guys now that you are important so if someone does something YOU DO NOT LIKE you can SAY NO.
I would just like to start by letting you know what I mean by someone doing something you do not like:
1. If they hold your hand
2. If they hug you for a length of time
3. If they try to be alone with you and you don't want to be alone with them.
4. If they try it on with you!
5. Anything that makes you for 1 second not want to be in that situation/ feel uncomfortable.
Honestly this could be anything but I really honestly believe that if you do not like that situation you can get out of it it is your right. Here are some things that are OK to do if you want out of that situation:
1. Be rude!
2. Tell them to get off
3. Tell them no
4. Do not be alone with them (as much as possible)
5. PUT YOURSELF FIRST!
I also think that if you even like this person in a friend way or if you're crushing on them or if they're your boy/girlfriend, they still have no right to be treating you like this. If they're a good friend for you to have they won't want to make you feel uncomfortable and will most likely apologise, if not stuff them they are not worth you.
If you think you have done something to deserve to be treated this way:
1. YOU DON'T
2. YOU'RE WORTHY OF MORE
3. YOU'RE IMPORTANT
4. I think you're amazing and if someone ever makes you feel like you're not worth something then that someone is not a good person to have in your life.
5. Please make sure you have people you can talk to if you feel uncomfortable in any situation.

My Favourite Make Up Brand

I'm sorry this post is a bit late I have no excuse I feel like the worst person... (*shame on myself*)
Anyway I am going to have another post aswell! So please forgive me!
This post is about my favourite makeup brand! This is a drugstore brand because I feel that way everyone and anyone can purchase it.
My favourite make-up brand has got to be Rimmel! I thought of five points (to limit myself) about why I love them:
1. The quality of their products is FAB
2. The pricing is fair and is very affordable
3. The products themself are really lovely and very cute
4. I really love the names of some of their products (they don't name them all)
5. They sell Kate Moss lipsticks! (this is the only point that matters really!)

I really think that Rimmel products are amazing and one of the best drugstore brands out there!

My Favourite Shop!

Today I'm going to tell you about my favourite shop and why it is my favourite shop. This is another post related to the british blogger selection so I hope you enjoy!
Firstly I want you to know that picking a favourite shop is possibly the hardest thing you could ever ask me to do there are so many shops that I love like H&M or Asos or Topshop there are too many but I decided to go with a shop where I love everything they sell and where there is always something that I love and that is very cliche to. My absolute favourite shop is Urban Outfitters. I am soo soo happy that one has opened near me I'll probably end up living in there. I love the clothes in urban outfitters even though they are a bit pricey but the main thing I love is the homeware section I always browse it and always find little things that I love and add to my wishlist (yes I actually have a wishlist for Urban Outfitters Homeware). The only bad thing about Urban Outfitters is that some of their items are a bit expensive.
I think it is the perfect shop to find a gift for someone or if you are re-doing your bedroom or if you've moved house or something along those lines, there is something in there that is bound to be able to make your space your own!

Hello my lovelies, 

So as you probably know I decided to become part of the British blogger selection recently and this is the first post I am going to do in relation to that (If you want to know more about it I did a post on it before)

Question No1: Why do you like blogging?

I guess I like that I can meet new people through it and I love reading about what people like and dislike (I'm super nosy) and I guess blogging is the first thing I've done where I don't care what people think of my blog or if they think it's lame because I enjoy it.

Question No2: How did you come up with your blog name? 

This is really lame but it is just a literal name at school quite a few of my teachers would refer to me as miss Birch rather than Sacha so at first I was going to have that but I thought it needed something else and I am really tiny like 5ft (don't laugh) so I decided to be little miss birch.

Question No3: Where from the UK do you come from? 

I come from Nottingham it's in the midlands and I am literally right inbetween Derby and Nottingham but I like Nottingham better so I say I'm from Nottingham.

My favourite colour is probably white. It's so boring but I love how clean and fresh it makes me feel (I would've said black but it's a tone not a colour)

Easily blueberries! I love them!

British Blogger Selection

Shoe Unboxing

Hello my lovelies,
Recently I ordered a pair of converse as I'm going away I thought it was a good excuse to get a new pair. I ordered them on Amazon and if you look around on there you can get them much cheaper than normal!

When I ordered them the box came a little bit battered as you can see but the shoes inside were fine so it isn't a problem and they came wrapped in tissue paper. The converse themselves are the black oxford ones and I really like them! I thought buying them a bit cheaper online could mean there was something wrong with them but there honestly isn't a fault to be seen! Here are pictures of the box and packaging and shoes etc.

I really like these converse because I think they will just go with everything! I'm always wearing the same shoes and it gets boring so it will be nice to have something that I can wear that is a bit different!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer Review

Hello my lovelies,
I bought this concealer after reading amazing reviews about it. I had a stick concealer before it and I found that this really dried out my skin especially over spots and blemishes. I really like this concealer because its not drying at all and it has amazing coverage! I get dark circles around my eyes and I find that this covers them perfectly and stays put all day. Every good review I've read about this I have found to be true, and I think that this will be a staple in my makeup bag.
It cost £3.99 and my shade is 02 light I bought it lighter than my foundation becasuse sometimes when I put my foundation over my concealer it will go darker or look orangey, which isn't good.

I really like this concealer and highly recommend it.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation Review

Hello my lovelies,
I am absolutely loving my new foundation!This is such an amazing foundation, it's looks quite dewy but doesn't look too shiny (if it does just dab some powder over those shiny parts!). It is really nice and easy to put onto the skin. I would say it has medium coverage because it still looks natural but covers up all the redness and unwanted things such as blemishes. I also like the packaging I think it looks really cute and I really like the orange on it, like alot.
I would really suggest using this foundation if you're after something that isn't expensive and does a really good job at looking quite natural then I think this would be good for you.
It was £8.99 and my shade is true ivory which I think really matches my skin tone

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush Review

Hello my lovelies,

I bought this brush recently after reading one too many great reviews about this brush. It was £8.99 at Superdrug. I think you can get it at boots but it is more expensive :( 

I really like this brush it is really firm and the handle means it stands on its own which is a feature I really like haha, the brush blends in my foundation really well I don't notice any lines or brush strokes which I really like!If you're just starting out with make-up I think this would be a good to use first because there isn't a specific way to use it you just move it in small circular motions to blend in your foundation. I really love this brush and I can not wait to buy other real techniques brushes such as the blusher brush because this one is so fantastic. 

I hope this has helped some of you who were on the edge of whether or not to buy it.

Sleek Blusher Rose Gold Review

Hello my lovelies,
As I said in my last post I recently bought this blusher to replace my old one I ran out of.
I bought it in the shade Rose Gold it was £4.49.

I really like the packaging I think it is really slim and not too big and bulky. The colour is a rose pink with a shimmer to it (hence the name rose gold). This is so pigmented and looks amazing but you only need to use a little if you use a lot it looks like you've applied glitter to your cheeks. I use this in my every day routine but I only use a little bit on the apples of my cheeks.

I really like this blusher, I think it's quite similar to Nars 'deepthroat' or 'orgasm' those are real names I promise, I have no idea what they were thinking personally. I would highly recommend this blusher, if you wouldn't want a shimmery one they do one called 'flushed' which is quite similar just without the shimmer.

Make-up Haul

Here is all the makeup I bought on my travels to Superdrug this saturday. I am super happy with the products I have bought, they are all amazing quality for the cost and I would definitley check them out if you want higher end brand quality but lower end brand price!I'm going to try and do little posts about each product in detail through the week so this will just be an over view. Keep your eyes peeled for more! (that is such a strange expression).

apologies in advance for the bad photo quality. Don't even ask about my beautiful DSLR. 

Number One is Rimmels' Wale Me Up foundation. I know I've said it before but I will say it again! I love this after eyeing it up for ages I decided to just go ahead and buy it! It was £8.99 in Superdrug and my shade is true ivory. All I'm saying for now is I absolutely love this product!

Number Two is, of course, Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer. Where has this been all my life it is amazing for such a small price! I think this was £3.49 but I cant rememer exactly, my shade is 02 light. (I know this is lighter than my foundation but I find this helps to avoid those patchy orange bits around blemishes and such evil things)

Number Three, Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, I don't know what to say about this I am absolutely in love with it. This was £8.99 in Superdrug which may seem like a lot but it is worth every penny!

 Number Four, this was more spontaneous as I recently ran out of blusher and I heard this was a really good brand and shade so of course I bought it! It's sleek blusher in Rose Gold. This will be the first review I'll do and I'm going to be honest it's an amazing blusher and was I believe under £5!

My Autumn Wishlist

As you probably know I did a makeup wishlist and I thought to myself "hmm... Sacha you should probably think about clothes because they're important" so I decided to do a wishlist of everything I think is essential for winter and what I will be looking to purchase.

I also think that a tartan print scarf is perfect for the cold weather and they look great with most things because of the mixture of colours in them.

Something I think is a huge staple not only for autumn but for all year round is ankle boots especially cut out boots I feel like they add some femininity to a solid piece.

 Of course an essential would be a white tee and I really like this one from Topshop because of the shape of it and the mix of materials I think it is absolutely fab!

I really like Topshop's Joni jeans at the minute they're super highwaisted and fit so nicely, I think that they will look really nice in a black with a light denim jacket.

Last but not least I really think that frilly socks will look so good with cut out boots topshop do some really cute ones in hundreds of different colours or some patterned socks topshop again do alot of cute ones like this to!

What's in my make-up bag!

Hello my lovelies,
As promised here is my whats in my makeup bag post!

My makeup bag is from Cath Kidston it was a christmas present so I have literally no idea how much it was but it's a fabulous size and comes with a matching compact mirror! What more could you want! I use my make-up bag to hold all the essential things that I could possibly need in a emergency!

First off in my bag I keep a couple of lip products and honestly if you haven't tried babylips yet do yourself a favour and go buy one or two or even buy all of them! I have a little lipgloss and a powder I have my old nasty No7 in there at the moment because its already ruined so it won't matter if it gets bashed around a bit and another old brush.

If you know me at all you will know that I am super clumsy so I always have some plasters on me incase I have a moment. I am also quite emotional especially with Disney films I know but it's true so tissues for me is a must!

Finally I just carry around some bobby pins because I always seem to lose mine and some cotton wool bud things. I don't know why I have these they just come in useful quite a lot for different things, so are good to just have there incase.

That is pretty much it if I'm going out I might throw in a couple of other things but that is pretty much all I take with me on an everyday basis.

My Hand Bag Essentials

Hello my lovelies,

I'm sorry I haven't been posting as much this past week, it's been super stressful and I've been ill so please accept my apology! 

Anyway I thought I would share some of my handbag essentials  (I'm planning on doing a travel make-up bag one to in case you're wondering where some things are). 

So these are the main things in my bag:

Headphones-I'm always on public transport nowadays and because of where I live it's normally for a long time so having headphones is a must for me even normal iPod headphones.

Purse-I use my purse for everything it's like a little bag inside my bag, it has my ID in it and all sorts which I would've lost by now with out it.

Keys & Key Ring- I have a big key ring because I don't want to lose it in the depths of my bag along with all the rubbish from years ago. The one I have is something I found in a baby section in a little shop near me and is from 'jelly cat' I just thought it was super cute (when it gets dirty I can wash it to!)

Water- I think it is so important to keep hydrated and drink throughout the day because it stops you feeling ill and is also so good for your skin. 

Hand Cream- As it's getting into winter I think having hand cream is pretty essential so my little hands don't get sore and dry.

Snacks- I have a really bad habit of not eating if I'm out and about so I throw a snack in there to give me something to munch on. These are rainbow drops and I don't know why but I love them.

Lipstick- I always have a lipstick lose in my bag, its easy to get to and should be a colour that goes with everything! The one I have at the moment is 'Maybelline Colour Sensational Popsticks Citrus Slice (060)'

Body Spray- I don't really have to explain this. It's just good to have this so you can keep smelling nice through the whole day!
